LONDONDERRY, NH, December 19, 2019 - The holidays can be tough for many local families. Every year, Liberty Utilities partners with local, charitable organizations to help make Christmas wishes come true. This year, the company donated gifts to the Nashua Children’s Home, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Derry, the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester, the Salvation Army in Tilton and David’s House in Lebanon.

“One of the things that makes this program so special is the fact it’s employee driven” said Susan Fleck, President, Liberty Utilities – NH. “We have a committee that organizes the whole thing.” Liberty employees pick children to sponsor and purchase items on their wish list.

“From shopping for the gifts to wrapping and delivering them, our employees not only donate money, but their time as well,” Fleck said. “In addition to the gifts our employees purchase, the company also makes a monetary donation to each of the organizations we sponsor.”

This year marks the 8th consecutive year Liberty employees have donated gifts to local families. As the company has grown over the years, it has been able to extend its reach and add new organizations to sponsor. “I’m very proud of the work our employees do to give back to the communities we serve,” said Fleck. “We look forward to helping families in local communities for many years to come.”
