It doesn't make the news.

It doesn't get a Facebook post.

And chances are, you'll never thank your electric company for it.

But…that's kind of the point.

Every year, Liberty tracks how often customers lose power and, if a power outage does occur, how quickly service is restored. These measurements are called SAIDI (average total time of outages) and SAIFI (average number of outages), and they are designed to tell us whether we're doing our job before you ever have to think about us.

In 2025, Liberty’s electric distribution system in NH achieved a SAIDI result of 114.18 minutes, which is the 7th lowest result since 2004, and a SAIFI result of 0.95. This means that the average Liberty electric customer was without power less than one time a year, and if an outage did occur, the customer’s power was restored in roughly 114 minutes.

How we do it

Over the past year, we've shared stories about the work happening across our electric system to make it stronger and more reliable. Like the switchgear we replaced at the Rockingham Mall, the substation upgrades we completed in Monroe, all the work continuing to happen at Tuscan Village, the upgraded distribution system on Blueberry circle, and so much more.

Every tree trimmed, every pole inspected, every underground cable replaced, and every piece of equipment upgraded is another step toward the same goal: keeping your power on.

And at the end of the day, our goal isn't to give you something to notice, it's to give you one less thing to worry about.
