Southern New Hampshire residents know Tuscan Village for its energy and charm, but what’s less visible is the infrastructure making it all possible. That’s where Liberty plays a critical role.
As the development grows, Liberty works closely with developers to plan for increased electrical demand and ensure the system can support it. The latest milestone, Building 1300, is a 475,000-square-foot mixed-use space featuring 299 residential units, over 70,000 square feet of retail, and Salem’s first Whole Foods Market.
To power the building, Liberty installed three switchgears, four manholes, four padmount transformers, re-fed an existing transformer, ran 6,300 feet of cable, and set 309 new electric meters.
It’s work you don’t always see, but it’s essential. Strong infrastructure supports growth, attracts business, and keeps the community moving forward. And while this phase is complete, more progress is already underway at Tuscan Village.
The next phase involves the construction of more jewel buildings. Located in the center of Tuscan Village, these small and versatile buildings can house anything from pop-up shops and specialty stores to small restaurants. While the main infrastructure needed to power these buildings is already in place, Liberty will install electric meters as each new space comes online.
