  • On Saturday, June 22nd, a group of Liberty Utilities employees volunteered at the Liberty House Golf Tournament. They helped set up for the event, made lunch for those participating in the tournament and measured balls on the green. It was a beautiful day for a great cause. We are honored to be a part of helping NH's homeless veterans.

  • On Wednesday, June 12th, ten Liberty employees spent the day volunteering at Camp Foster, one of the Manchester Boys and Girls Club’s summer camps. They spent the day assembling several rolling cabinets and adirondack chairs in preparation of the 2019 summer camping season.Way to go guys!

  • On Monday, June 10th, several Liberty Utilities employees volunteered at Benson's Wild Animal Farm in Hudson. They painted picnic tables, cleared brush, sanded and painted stair railings and cut down broken tree branches. Benson's Park is a beautiful place that relies on the help of volunteers to keep it clean. We are proud of their hard work and dedication to the communities we serve.

  • A Liberty Utilities Collections Specialist recruited a group of co-workers to collect supplies needed to make “Comfort Bags.” The bags are given to the kids living at the Nashua Children’s Home as well as the children at the NICU at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock (CHaD) in Lebanon. The Comfort Bags are filled with handmade blankets, stuffed animals, toiletries, coloring books and other items to help lift their spirits. The intent is to make this a year round initiative of gathering supplies and helping more children in need.

  •  On September 21st, the Liberty team participating in United We Sleep spent a cold, windy, rainy night sleeping outside in cardboard boxes on Amherst Street in Nashua. They spent a large part of the night trying to keep the boxes over their heads, but the boxes continued to get blown over by the wind. They managed to make it under the big tent before the heavy rain began, but the street noise along with the other conditions made for a restless night. Their efforts not only helped to raise awareness, but $6,586.08 for the United Way of Greater Nashua!

  • A group of employees at the Sonshine Soup Kitchen in Derry working to prepare dinner for local residents in need.

  • On June 8, our Manchester yard hosted a BBQ for employees with a special twist. In addition to some great food, the event featured a dunk tank where employees could pay for a shot to dunk their Manager or Supervisor. Employees raised $1,000 and will be donating that money to one of the local charities we are involved with.

  • On May 22nd, 250 Liberty Utilities employees, along with Red Cross employees/volunteers, worked to put together over 350 boxes filled with items donated by our employees. Donated items included shaving cream, shampoo and conditioner, t-shirts, snacks, and more. In addition to donated items, employees and some of their children wrote letters and took photos to be included in the boxes.

Once packaged, employees formed an assembly line to move the stacked boxes from inside into the Red Cross van. The items will go to to U.S. military members stationed at Camp Lemmonnier in Djibouti and Camps Arifjan and Buehring in Kuwait. This was such a meaningful event to all of our employees, especially the 50+ veterans that are currently employed with us. We are truly honored we were able to be a part of supporting the men and women keeping our country safe.

  • Liberty staff took to the streets on April 20th to help with neighborhood beautification and clean-up as part of In-Town Manchester’s Adopt-a-Block program. The group spread mulch, raked leaves and removed garbage from Commercial Street to the River Walk.
