Liberty Utilities offers rebates and incentives when you choose certain high efficiency space heating systems, water heaters, programmable thermostats, and boiler reset controls. Save energy and increase your company's bottom line.

Space Heating

Installing a natural gas heating system will prove helpful to the environment and your bottom line.

Rebates are available for:

Furnaces, up to $450
Condensing unit heaters, up to $750
Infrared heaters, up to $750
Condensing boilers, up to $10,000
Steam Traps, $50 each
After-market boiler reset controls, $225 each
7 day programmable thermostats, $25 each

Only qualifying businesses installing efficient versions of the following equipment are eligible. Select a licensed contractor to install your high-efficiency heating equipment. Upon installation, complete and submit the New Hampshire rebate form.

Program applications are processed on a first come first serve basis. Rebates are limited and available to qualifying applications until the program budget is depleted.

Water Heating

Installing an energy efficient natural gas water heater can help reduce your energy consumption.

Rebates are available for:

$400 for indirect water heaters
Up to $800 for on demand tankless water heaters with electronic ignition (minimum .94 Energy Factor rating)

Prescriptive Controls

Get the most out of your natural gas burning equipment with prescriptive controls.

Rebates are available for:

ENERGY STAR® programmable thermostats, $25 each for up to 10 units
After Market Boiler Reset, $225 for up to 10 units
Steam Traps, $50 each for up to 10 units

Steam systems are one of the most intense users of energy in buildings. Liberty Utilities’ Save Steam Now Initiative is designed to help customers reduce energy, improve reliability, increase education and awareness, and improve efficiency in steam systems by providing steam trap and steam system surveys and financial incentives for energy efficiency improvements.

Liberty Utilities will fund 50% of the cost of a steam trap survey. A pre-approved surveyor will examine your facility’s steam traps in order to uncover failed or non-operating traps. The surveyor will recommend if traps need to be replaced or repaired. Customer may perform repairs in-house or use outside vendors at customer’s discretion. Liberty Utilities will contribute up to 35% of actual repair/replacement costs.

Commercial Kitchen Equipment Rebates

Liberty Utilities helps restaurant owners and operators improve the performance of their facilities and equipment while reducing energy costs.

According to The Food Service Technology Center, as much as 80 percent of the $10 billion annual energy bill for the commercial food service sector does no useful work. These lost energy dollars are often wasted in the form of excess heat and noise generated by inefficient appliances; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; and lighting and refrigeration. To help counter these costs, Liberty Utilities helps restaurant owners and operators improve the performance of their facilities and equipment while reducing energy costs. Restaurants that invest strategically can cut costs 10 to 30 percent without sacrificing service, quality, style, or comfort — while making significant contributions to a cleaner environment.

Rebates are available to increase the affordability of high-efficiency gas-fired commercial kitchen equipment. Up to $1,000 rebates are available for each qualifying piece of equipment installed at your facility. Restaurants that invest strategically can cut utility costs 10% to 30% without sacrificing service, quality, style, or comfort — while making significant contributions to a cleaner environment.
