Liberty offers rebates and incentives when you choose certain high efficiency space heating systems, water heaters, programmable thermostats, and boiler reset controls. Save energy and increase comfort in your home.

Space Heating

Installing a natural gas heating system will prove helpful to the environment and your wallet alike. Plus, a high-efficiency furnace or boiler can save you up to 30% of your heating-related energy use.

We offer the following rebates to current Liberty Utilities gas heating customers:

• up to $1,500 for qualifying combined heating boilers and water heating units
• up to $1,500 for qualifying heating boilers
• up to $450 for qualifying heating furnaces

For qualifying equipment details, please consult page two of the New Hampshire rebate form. Select a licensed contractor to install your high-efficiency heating equipment. Upon installation, complete and submit the New Hampshire rebate form.

Water Heating

Water heating accounts for the third largest energy expenditure of the average household. Installing a natural gas hot water system will prove helpful to the environment and your wallet alike. In fact, a high-efficiency model can reduce your hot water costs by 30 cents on the dollar.

We offer the following rebates to current Liberty customers:

• $500 for qualifying condensing water heaters
• up to $800 for qualifying on-demand tankless water heaters
• $400 for qualifying indirect water heaters

Programmable Thermostats

Programmable thermostats automatically adjust your home’s temperature to save energy during your sleeping and working hours.

We offer up to $100 for each Wi-Fi enabled thermostat and up to $25 for each 7-day programmable thermostat installed in your home (limit two (2) rebates per natural gas account).

Thermostats can be installed by energy conservation auditors or heating and cooling contractors, or you can do it yourself.

Upon installation, complete and submit the Thermostat Rebate Form.

When disposing of thermostats, please recycle them safely through your local household hazardous waste program. Visit www.earth911.org and enter "thermostat" and your zip code at the top of the page to locate your local program.

Boiler Reset Controls

Installing a reset control can increase your boiler's efficiency. By differentiating between colder and milder weather, the control signals the boiler to operate at an applicable level, saving 10% or more on your heating costs.

Upon installation of an add-on outdoor boiler reset control attached to your existing forced hot water boiler, you will qualify for a $225 rebate from Liberty.
