It all starts when you call Horizon, an approved contractor for Liberty, at 
603-369-4834 or email NHSaves@horizon-res.com. 

Program applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Supplies are limited and available to qualifying applications until the program budget is depleted.

Electric Direct Install Program

Want a Nest Learning Thermostat at zero cost to you? Liberty's Direct Install program may be able to help! 

Liberty is now offering Nest Learning Thermostats to our residential electric customers with central cooling to help boost enrollment in our new demand response program, Connected Rewards. 

What is the Connected Rewards program? 

Liberty’s voluntary demand response program, known as Connected Rewards, is designed to reward you for reducing your electricity use during periods of high demand while helping the environment and reliability of the electricity grid. Participants agree to brief, limited events that adjust their thermostats during peak electric demand periods from June 1 through September 30. Peak demand periods for adjustments typically occur on especially hot days. Learn more about this program and the rewards that go along with it below.

What other savings measures will I get after being enrolled in the Direct Install program? 

In addition to Nest Learning Thermostat's for each zone in the house that conrols central cooling, customers that take part of Liberty's Direct Install program will also be eligible to receive the following:

• TrickleStar Tier 2 Advanced Power Strip (i.e., home entertainment systems, home offices, and other places where electronics are operated as a group).
• Low flow shower heads
• Low flow aerators
• Pipe wrap
• $50 per device for the Connected Rewards Program and $25 per year for participation

Am I qualified to participate in the Direct Install program? 

As long as you meet the following criteria, you are eligible! 

• Must be a Liberty NH residential electric customer
• Thermostat(s) must control zones with central cooling
• Must agree to participate in Liberty’s Connected Rewards program to be eligible for the Direct Install offer
