Paying Your Bill

We offer many different ways to make payments. While most of the ways are free, some do incur a small processing fee. 

Explore the two different options below to help you find the best and most convenient way for you to pay your bill. 

How Would You Like to Pay?


  • You can make a one-time payment using a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express) online by clicking here or over the phone 24/7 at 1-800-375-7413. Please note for security reasons, our customer service representatives are not able to take payments over the phone. 
    There is a $1.75 processing fee charged by our vendor. We do not profit from this fee.
    Commercial Customers: There is a $7.75 processing fee charged by our vendor. We do not profit from this fee.

  • There are multiple ways you can pay using your checking account. 

    • Paperless Billing 
      Paperless is now available through My Account! With Paperless, you can choose to receive an email or text letting you know your bill is available to view and pay online. Click here to sign up for My Account and get set up with Paperless.

    • Mail your payment to us

      Return the lower portion of your bill, along with a check or money order, in the envelope provided with your bill and mail it to:

  • You can use cash to pay your bill at many Walmart locations. Click the button below for a complete list. There is no fee for this service.

    • Use your bank’s online bill payment service 
      Most banks and credit unions offer bill payment services to their customers. Liberty Utilities can be set up as a Payee in the system. Contact your financial institution for more information. 
  • You can visit one of the following locations if you would like to pay your bill in person:

     

    • Authorized Payment Agents

      Click the button below for a complete list of authorized payment locations near you. Please only use authorized payment agents. Paying using other services may result in delays in posting your payments. There is no fee for this service*. Also be sure to input your state in the  "Location Search" box. 

      *Important: To locate authorized payment locations that do not charge a convenience fee, within the  Biller Search box you must input Liberty Utilities and select your state from the dropdown menu.

      You can also pay using cash at Western Union locations in New Hampshire. Click the button below for a complete list. There is no fee for this service.

  • For security purposes, our customer service representatives are not able to take payments over the phone. Customers wishing to pay over the phone using a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express) or debit card can call us 24/7 at 1-800-375-7413 and select the option to make a payment. You will be redirected to our secure payment line. Please note there is a $1.75 processing fee charged by our vendor. We do not profit from this fee.

  • Mail a check or money order, along with the lower portion of your statement, to:

Things To Keep In Mind: 

  • Utility customers are frequent targets of fraud. Scammers can use emails, phone calls or text messages to trick you into giving them your personal information. Click here for information to help you identify legitimate messages, calls, and visits from Liberty to help you avoid falling for a scam. 
  • Depending on which payment method you choose, the processing time can vary from 1-10 days. If your due date is less than ten days away, we recommend using a payment method with a faster processing time, such as paying in person or over the phone.  

  • Credit, ATM Debit and checking account transactions have a $1.00 minimum and $600.00 maximum. If your balance is larger than $600, the system will accept up to 8 separate transactions per 26 day period, per account number.
  • Checks returned as non-sufficient funds (NSF) may incur a fee.

Commercial Customers

  • Depending on which payment method you choose, the processing time can vary from 1-10 days. If your due date is less than ten days away, we recommend using a payment method with a faster processing time, such as paying in person or over the phone.  
  • Credit, ATM Debit and checking account transactions have a $1.00 minimum and $1,200.00 maximum. The system will accept up to 8 separate transactions per 26 day period, per account number.
  • Checks returned as non-sufficient funds (NSF) may incur a fee.
