We work hard to provide our customers with unparalleled, safe, and reliable service. Despite our best efforts to prevent outages, there are factors beyond our control, such as storms and heavy wind conditions, that will occasionally knock out power. We understand communication during this time period is essential. That's why we've instituted an outage management system.


Outage Central provides comprehensive and timely information about electric power outages. With our outage map you can check the status of a power outage, see how many individuals are affected and obtain the estimated restoration time. Information is updated every 20-30 minutes and is displayed in both an easy-to-read table and a map-based interface.

You can zoom in to a one-mile radius by region, county, town, or village, and easily determine the impact a power outage may be having on your local community. For privacy and safety purposes, the map will NOT show your home address. Flags represent an outage location based on the equipment involved.


Reading the Chart

Incidents - Problems within the system or with equipment. An incident may effect a single customer or multiple customers. 
Aff - Customers affected. This column will show how many customers/households are experiencing an outage.
Served - Total customers served by region.  This number will not change during outages (planned or unplanned).
