Projects we have completed

Candia Rd natural gas station
Candia Rd natural gas station

In 2023, a multi-year upgrade of the Candia Road natural gas metering and regulator station was completed. The original station, housed in a Kinder Morgan building with a buried regulator vault, was undersized and operating under constraints.

The station was relocated to a new building on adjacent Liberty-owned property. The upgraded facility adds modern equipment, increasing capacity, improving redundancy, and strengthening over-pressure protection, which enhances safety, reliability, and supports future growth.

Technology & system support investments
Technology & system support investments

Liberty has made investments to support safe, secure, and efficient system operations. These include cybersecurity enhancements to protect critical infrastructure, improvements to the customer service system, continued investment in cathodic protection to mitigate corrosion of underground assets, and modernization of operational technology.

Projects coming up

Northern District Supply Constraint Mitigation Project
Northern District Supply Constraint Mitigation Project

This project aims to strengthen service reliability for a highly demand-constrained area of our system. The company is in the early stages of evaluating an upgrade to the high-pressure line serving the northern portion of our system, including Tilton and surrounding communities.

This effort aims to support reliable service and future growth by improving performance during peak demand, increasing operational flexibility, and ensuring the system can continue to safely and effectively serve existing customers under current conditions.

Southern District Supply Constraint Mitigation Project
Southern District Supply Constraint Mitigation Project

This project focuses on increasing gas supply in the greater Nashua area through the installation of new pipeline segments and upgrades to critical supply intake facilities, including the construction of the Harvey Road gate station.

These investments are designed to increase system capacity, improve pressure, and enhance reliability during times of peak demand.

Over-Pressurization Protection Program
Over-Pressurization Protection Program

This program focuses on the installation of enhanced over-pressurization protection measures to mitigate pressure-related issues. These investments ensure compliance with federal pipeline safety requirements while strengthening system monitoring, controls, and overall operational safety.
